Tiles are great on the floor yes, but have you ever thought about where else you can use them? No, probably not. Well we are here to inspire you and show you how you can inject personality into your home!
Benchtops and Sinks:
We are all well aware of the costs involved with natural stone. Why not use tiles instead to achieve the desired look for a fraction of the cost. Another bonus is the durability when it comes to stains (turmeric and red wine, we're looking at you!)
Stairs:
There is just something so fun about tiled stair risers, it really layers and elevates the experience of an otherwise normal transition space. You can really play here, adding colour or pattern as the design intent is to have a fun moment.
Furniture:
A good project for our DIY lovers in the audience. An otherwise cookie cutter piece of furniture can easily become something that all of your friends will want for themselves. A great way to inject some colour or texture into a space if you’re more on the risk averse side or are renting!
Columns:
If you’re one of the many to live in a home with columns but don’t know what to do with them, why not draw attention to them in the best way possible! A strong trend in commercial design where structural integrity is key, designers from around the world have embraced the humble column by giving them their time to shine!
Door Frames and High Skirting:
A door frame is typically a bit of a non-event, so why not make an entrance and set the tone for what’s to come by tiling the door frame. The same goes for skirting, a great way to add personality is to raise the height of the skirting to make it more of a feature.
